Apprentice membership

If your dream is to become a professional engineer, the IET can help you realise it. As an apprentice, you’ll have many ‘firsts’. It might be your first time out of school /college and in a business environment. You’ll be working on engineering projects and problems that are new to you.

If you’ve had to relocate, it might be your first time away from home, friends and family. While on this learning curve, you can get support from your institution, the IET. By being a member with us, you can increase your professional network, knowledge and skills, as well as get help with practical matters such as finances.
